I'm a CS Major at SJSU, a developer, and a hackathon enthusiast; in fact I've participated in many hackathons, and I've won seven of them so far and even hosted my own hackathon, Teen Hackathon. I have interned at companies handling many responsibilities; I am the officer, webmaster and creator of the current website for the SJSU CS Club, and I was the officer and webmaster of multiple tech clubs at my high school.

I have moderate experience in professional development with paying clients.
I am currently looking for more professional work to engage myself with.

• Programming

  The difference between having programming as a hobby and as a career is that as a career, I would usually be doing it for somebody else, for the sake of making money. Doing it as a hobby lets me enjoy programming for the sake of programming, lets me pursue my own hobbies, and it's a great way to learn more.

• Hackathons

  Hackathons are a great place to do programming as a hobby, with a little motivation and hope for winning a prize fueling me through the night. More importantly however, I believe hackathons are a great place to meet new people, learn new languages and tools altogether, and practice delivering a polished product while working with a team under high pressure and little time conditions, yet facing no consequences, making it easier to learn from.

• Photography

  I enjoy all the math, science, and logic of my hobbies, but sometimes it's nice to do something different, something artistic. I enjoy photography as it's a great way to capture the world and it's beauty, my favorite type being landscape, scenery, or background shots.

• Dancing

  I enjoy all the math, science, and logic of my hobbies, but sometimes it's nice to do something different, something artistic, and while I only had to take this for the general education requirements, I learned to enjoy it just like I do ice skating and archery, as it's taught me much of the same thing: Simply keep trying, trying hard, and you will be able to do what you want to.

• Reading

  I wish I had more time to read. I love reading, and I dare say I enjoy it more than other forms of entertainment. it's quite enticing to read for me; fictional books require you to have a level of imagination to fully appreciate and enjoy. They're a great medium to learn from and a healthy form of entertainment.

• Basketball

  Most of my hobbies, with the exception of social dancing and archery, are quite lonesome activities. Basketball is a fun hobby for me to enjoy with my friends, when we're all around to enjoy ourselves, and it's a great way to practice working together on a common goal.

• Archery

  I enjoy all the math, science, and logic of my hobbies, but sometimes it's nice to do something different, something artistic, and while I only had to take this for the general education requirements, I learned to enjoy it just like I do ice skating and dancing, as it's taught me much of the same thing: Simply keep trying, trying hard, and you will be able to do what you want to.
